The Klamath Falls Falcons finished runner-up at the American Legion Northwest Class A Regional Tournament for the second straight year, closing a 40-8 season that included an undefeated Area 4 run and runner-up finishes at both state and regionals.

The Klamath County Sports Officials Scholarship Committee has awarded a record $5,500 to nine local high school student-athletes from Bonanza, Lost River, Mazama, Crosspoint, Henley and Lakeview. Since 2011, the program has awarded 124 scholarships totaling $43,650.
