Luis Puga-Mendoza, 42, has been sentenced to 12½ years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual abuse involving two minor victims. The consecutive Measure 11 sentences must be served day-for-day without reductions.

A Roseburg man has been lodged at the Douglas County Jail on 120 charges, including rape, sexual abuse, unlawful sexual penetration, sodomy and incest. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the case involves a report of juvenile sexual abuse spanning approximately 11 years.

A Grants Pass school support staff member has been arrested following a grand jury indictment in a sex abuse investigation involving four identified victims. Oregon State Police say the case spans multiple years and includes six counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.
