COLDER TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND
The cooler weather will continue into Sunday morning, when several inland valleys could experience temperatures near or below freezing.

Forecast temperatures early Sunday include approximately 27 degrees in Lakeview, 29 degrees in Alturas, and 30 degrees in Klamath Falls. Grants Pass could fall to around 35 degrees, while Medford is forecast to reach approximately 36 degrees.

SNEAKER WAVE RISK INCREASES ALONG OREGON COAST
A separate coastal hazard is expected to develop Sunday evening as long-period ocean swells arrive along the southern Oregon coast.
The National Weather Service forecasts a moderate risk of sneaker waves from Sunday evening, November 1, through Monday afternoon, November 2, along beaches in Curry, Coos, and Douglas counties.
Sneaker waves can unexpectedly surge much farther up beaches than surrounding waves, potentially sweeping people into cold ocean water.
Beachgoers should remain off jetties, rocks, and logs, maintain a safe distance from the surf, and never turn their backs on the ocean.
Anyone who witnesses another person being swept into the water should call 911 rather than attempting a water rescue.

Forecast precipitation probabilities remain low across much of the region through the first half of next week.
Rain chances could begin increasing again Wednesday and Thursday, particularly along the coast and west of the Cascades.
The National Weather Service cautions that uncertainty remains about the timing and amount of precipitation later next week, with additional details expected as the next weather system approaches.
