The Klamath Falls Falcons earned Oregon’s second berth to the Northwest Class A Regional Tournament with a 5-2 win over Central Point, then battled Eugene to a 2-1 finish in the state championship. The Falcons now head to Casper, Wyoming, for regional play beginning Aug. 6.

The Klamath Falls Falcons closed the regular season at 33-4 overall and a perfect 19-0 in Area 4 play after winning two of their final three games. The Falcons now head to North Bend for the Class A state tournament beginning Wednesday.

The Klamath Falls Falcons completed a dominant 5-0 week, captured the American Legion Class A Area 4 regular-season championship and extended their winning streak to 13 games. The team closes the regular season Sunday with a postseason fundraiser at Kiger Stadium.
