The Medford Rogues went from an 11-game winning streak to a four-game skid last week before steadying themselves with a Father’s Day doubleheader sweep over the Solano Mudcats.

The Medford Rogues swept the Fresno A’s in a three-game weekend series at Harry & David Field, improving to 11-1 overall and extending their win streak to 11 games. Medford now turns toward games against the California Tigers and Solano Mudcats as Pacific Empire League play begins to take shape.

Henley baseball and softball each closed the 2026 season with deep OSAA state playoff runs, adding another strong chapter to two of Klamath County’s most consistent high school sports programs. Both teams reached the state quarterfinals, earned major Skyline Conference awards and placed multiple athletes on all-conference teams.

Southern Oregon’s national title defense came to an end Monday at the NAIA Softball World Series in Columbus, Georgia. The No. 3-seeded Raiders lost 5-2 to Southeastern and 3-1 to Indiana Wesleyan, ending a 45-15 season and a 16-game winning streak.
