Two separate incidents along Redwood Highway near Cave Junction—a trailer crash and a rockfall event—temporarily disrupted traffic over a two-day period, officials said.

A 76-year-old Grants Pass woman was killed in a head-on crash on Highway 97 near Chiloquin after her pickup crossed into oncoming traffic, according to Oregon State Police. The highway was impacted for approximately six hours during the investigation.

A Grants Pass man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening at the intersection of Kirtland Road and Highway 140 in Jackson County, according to Oregon State Police.
