Medford Police arrested 21-year-old Ivan Ortiz after a Friday night shooting near In-N-Out on Crater Lake Highway left a 19-year-old man hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

A suspect has been arrested following a fatal shooting in Grants Pass on Wednesday evening that left one person dead and another injured. Officers responded to the 800 block of NE E Street, where two victims were found with gunshot wounds. An 18-year-old male later died at the hospital, while a second victim survived. Authorities located the suspect hours later in a Jackson County hotel room and took him into custody without incident.

A shooting tied to a workplace dispute at a Sisters restaurant Tuesday morning ended with a suspect’s arrest following a short police pursuit along Highway 20, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

Medford Police detectives have arrested a 19-year-old Medford man in connection with a December 5 shooting, with additional charges tied to a separate October incident.
