A Siskiyou County traffic stop on May 29 led to the discovery of 18 kilograms of suspected cocaine valued at $1.9 million, according to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the suspected drugs were found inside an aftermarket hidden compartment after a Mount Shasta Police Department K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics.

A Douglas County narcotics investigation led to the seizure of nearly 22 pounds of methamphetamine along with cocaine, fentanyl, and bulk cash, according to authorities. Detectives conducted surveillance, deployed a K-9, and executed search warrants on both a vehicle and residence in Camas Valley. Three individuals were arrested and lodged at the Douglas County Jail in connection with the distribution case.
